Rolling Along

Easter Sunday was spent rolling up and down along the coastal road. Bike training with two guys who have signed up for the 70.3 in September.

There were many many large sand-carrying trucks but one stuck out. X?9696?, couldn’t get the rest of the license plate, you don’t look too clearly when perspiration’s dripping down your face and the truck is leaving sand and dust in its wake which you are pedalling though or past. But this driver gave us plenty of space on the road, despite the 3 of us adding up to less than his tyres, he gave us a whole lane. Not once but twice! Thank you!

And there were the ones who were not so nice… maybe we should put these people on bicycles then they’ll know what it’s like…
