We are back at one of our favorite tables at Cafe Wayan, Ubud, Bali.
Fata had reminded me that it was Chuan Soon who had introduced us to Cafe Wayan back in 1997.
And 11 years later, we still come here every time we are in Ubud.
It is still a beautiful garden, with tables under larger and littler gazebos scattered around the lush green grounds.
Ristefel (forgive the spelling...) also one of our favorite dishes from Cafe Wayan. It's a collection of local Balinese dishes. Includes bebek betutu, satay, chicken curry, coconut vegetables, fried coconut shreds with soya beans... hungry...
I once had a chicken cordon bleu here and it was yummy!
