Nominated for 8 Academy Awards this year - No Country For Old Men won 4, including Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Achievement in Directing for the Coen brothers, Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material Previously Produced or Published & Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for Javier Bardem.Saw this movie last night, and I thought it was a waste of time... tried really hard NOT to fall asleep. I think it's age, the older I get, the more impatient I get and 2 hours of ambling around was no fun for a Sunday night.
Though I have friends who enjoyed it tremendously and found the action riveting... to each his own... to each his own :-)
