Was almost done with my Gumbo run when I went into a 6-hour tournament for a Shelder, but no luck there...

Shoe Obsession
Today's breakfast was quite interesting... Fata and I went to a local coffee shop for yummy treats where a lady at the table behind me was obsessing about shoes her best friend has.
This lady said her best friend has a black pair which is worn Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and a beige pair that is worn Tuesdays and Thursday. Plus, this best friend recently procured a 3rd grey pair?
So, this lady told her best friend to stop wearing those shoes, 'cos all this lady can think about are these shoes! No thoughts about men, no thoughts about sex even! Just these shoes!
Then this lady talks about collecting VIP cards from local clothing stores. What did she buy from where and how she didn't spend enough at another store to get member privileges...
Well, I guess it takes all kinds of people to make the world go around. I can't remember when was the last time I'd obsessed over anything to such a degree! Anyhow, thank you for an interesting breakfast...

The Courage To Do Something New
A friend today complained that this blog's getting too MH! hahaha...
This led to this post about someone who after 11.5 years in the same company, had the courage and determination to fudge it all and quit! :) Nothing made sense to her anymore. More and more unreasonable and rude people just made it worse...
I'm so proud of her. Life is short, and when you've already used up your 2nd chance, it's now or never. Have a great holiday and come home happier :)
